  1. Track Location
    Set your GPS to 501 Fairview Drive, Plymouth, WI 53073. This is Gate #2 at the Sheboygan County Fair Park. Then head straight East across the grounds to reach the pit entrance.

  3. Curfew
    We have a 10pm curfew. We do not run an "all night" show.


  4. Sanction
    The Dairyland Classic is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association of Pickerington, Ohio. All competitors in all classes are required to have current AMA competition membership.

  5. ALL MINORS (in including Junior/Expert Open) competing at the Dairyland Classic require one of the following at sign-up:

    Both parents must be present (to sign the standard liability waiver form),
    OR you must have the AMA Minor Annual Release card in your possession,
    OR you must have a completed, notarized, color copy of THIS AMA Minor Annual Release Form in your possesion, which you will hand in at sign-up to be sent to the AMA.
    There will be no exceptions made, for any reason.



  6. JUNIOR/EXPERT OPEN DIVISION:

    ▶An "open" class for professionally-licensed competitors.
    ▶Unless otherwise specified, all other rules per the AMA (Ohio) Racing rulebook (Pickerington, Ohio).
    ▶To comply with DMG requests, the terms "pro" and "GNC" have been removed from this class description.

    Eligibility

    ▶All racers holding a current, valid American Flat Track AFT Twins or AFT Singles professional racing license from the Daytona Motorsports Group (DMG) are eligible. This license must be shown at event registration to validate your eligibility.
    ▶A valid AMA (Ohio) Competition Membership Card is required for registration at the event. Click here to join the AMA today.

    Equipment

    ▶Motorcycles must be full-size (not a "pit bike") and must set up for dirt track competition.
    ▶Motorcycle frames may be OEM, aftermarket, or custom-made. Section 3.2.C.8 (pages 130-131) of the 2017 AMA (Ohio) Racing Rulebook) covers the General Equipment Standards for frames.
    ▶Engines must be single-cylinder or twin-cylinder, and must be two-stroke or four-stroke.
    ▶Competitors with an AFT Singles license are not required to compete on a single-cylinder motorcycle.
    ▶Competitors with an AFT Twins license are not required to compete on a twin-cylinder motorcycle.

    Fees/Awards

    ▶$60 entry fee includes pit pass, parking fees, and fairgrounds fees.
    ▶Bonus(es) will be awarded to the top finishing competitors on twin-cylinder motorcycles (provided that the twin engine has been eligible for DMG competition over the past two seasons).
    ▶Current 2017 Junior/Expert Open payout:

    ▶Time permitting, we will conduct a champagne-laden victory circle celebration with Pro Plate awards and interviews of the top three finishers of the Final in front of the grandstands.

    Jim Sumner Memorial Dash For Cash

    ▶The Jim Sumner Memorial Dash For Cash is part of the Junior/Expert Open program.
    ▶The three fastest riders on different brands of singles - based on heat race finishes - will be invited (but not required) to participate.
    ▶The three fastest riders on different brands of twins - based on heat race finishes - will be invited (but not required) to participate.
    ▶The promoter reserves the right to make a judgment on what qualifies as "different brand".
    ▶The promoter reserves the right to add other riders at his discretion.

    Miscellaneous

    ▶To comply with DMG requests, the terms "pro" and "GNC" have been removed from this class description.
    ▶Competitors with an AFT Singles license (black numbers on yellow plates) will be referred to as "Junior riders".
    ▶Competitors with an AFT Twins license (black numbers on white plates) will be referred to as "Expert riders".
    ▶Competitors are strongly encouraged to compete with their American Flat Track competition number and plate color designation, as this will help our spectators recognize their favorite AFT racers.



  7. BOARD TRACKER DIVISION:

    ▶A racing division for antique amateur competitors.
    ▶Unless otherwise specified, all other rules per the AMA (Ohio) Racing rulebook.

    Eligibility

    ▶Competitors with a current AFT Singles or AFT Twins license are not allowed to compete.

    Equipment

    ▶Motorcycles must comply with the 1920s Vintage Class A class of the AMA Vintage National Dirt Track Series. Click here to download the 2017 AMA (Ohio) Racing Rulebook. Section 3.9 (Pages 208-232) cover the Vintage Dirt Track Meets. Pages 213-214 cover the 1920s Vintage Class A class.

  8. AMATEUR DIVISION:

    ▶A "250cc Amateur" class for amateur competitors.
    ▶Unless otherwise specified, all other rules per the AMA (Ohio) Racing rulebook.

    Eligibility

    ▶A valid AMA (Ohio) Competition Membership Card is required for registration at the event. Click here to join the AMA today.
    ▶Competitors with a current AFT Singles or AFT Twins license are not allowed to compete.
    ▶Competitors must be at least 12 years of age on the day of the event.

    Equipment

    ▶Motorcycles must be full-size (not a "pit bike") and must set up for dirt track competition.
    ▶Engines are limited to 250cc maximum displacement.

    Fees/Awards

    ▶ $30 Entry fee includes pit pass, parking fees, and fairgrounds fees.
    ▶ AMA District 16 points are not awarded.
    ▶ There is no cash payout.
    ▶ Time permitting, we will conduct a champagne-laden victory circle celebration with Pro Plate awards and interviews of the top three finishers of the Final in front of the grandstands.



  9. VINTAGE DIVISION:

    ▶A "Vintage" class for amateur competitors.
    ▶Unless otherwise specified, all other rules per the AMA (Ohio) Racing rulebook.


    Eligibility

    ▶A valid AMA (Ohio) Competition Membership Card is required for registration at the event. Click here to join the AMA today.
    ▶Competitors with a current AFT Singles or AFT Twins license are not allowed to compete.
    ▶Competitors must be at least 30 years of age on the day of the event.

    Equipment

    ▶Motorcycles must be full-size (not a "pit bike") and must set up for dirt track competition.
    ▶ An operating rear brake is required.
    ▶ All engines must be model year 1981 or earlier.
    ▶ All twin-cylinder engines (two-stroke and four-stroke) are encouraged.
    ▶ All single-cylinder, two-stroke engines are encouraged.
    ▶ All single-cylinder, four-stroke, two-valve engines are encouraged.
    ▶ All single-cylinder, four-stroke, four-valve engines are limited to 400cc maximum displacement (to encourage participation of the other engines).

    ▶ AMA District 16 points are not awarded.
