D. Event Format (per class)

▶Heat Races
▶A-Finals (the 1-12 seeds from the heat races)
▶B-Finals (the 13-24 seeds from the heat races)
▶C-Finals (the 25-36 seeds from the heat races)
▶No semis, no LCQs.



E. Jim Sumner Memorial Dash For Cash

▶Select participants in the Pro-Am Invitational division will be invited to participate in this race, which uses an inverted start (slowest qualifier at the front; fastest at the rear), in honor of our brother, Jim, who was National #45 when he died at the Springfield Mile on May 26, 2002.
▶Fastest qualifier (based on heat race finishes) on each different brand/configuration of engine will be invited to compete.



F. Competition Divisions

1. Pro-Am Invitational

Age: All Pro-Am Invitational entries must be at least 16 years of age on the day of the event.
Entries must be at least 17 year of age on the day of the event to ride a twin-cyinder motorcycle.
Eligibility: This is our elite invitational division for current and recent professional license holders.

Current (2024) American Flat Track license holders ("Pros"):

●all are automatically invitated to participate.
●must race in this class (they cannot race any other class).
●must show their AFT hard card to validate their invitation.
●must have a currentmembership.

Recently expired (2017 thru 2023) AFT license holders ("Ams"):

●must coordinate with promoter before the day of the event to validate your invitation
●must show their expired AFT hard card to validate their invitation.
●may choose to race in this division or the support divisions; but not both.
●must have a currentmembership.

Entry Fee: $80 entry. A discount is available for early entries via MotorsportReg.com.
Entry fee includes pit pass and access onto the fairgrounds.
Additional pit passes are $30 each.
Exclusions: Pro-Am Invitational participants are not permitted to compete in any other division.

Machines: 250cc minimum displacement gasoline engines or E-Bikes.

Number Plates: All machines must have three legible, easy-to-read number plates.
If our scorers cannot read your number plates, you will not be scored.

2. Hooligan (18+)
